First of all, I would like to suggest removing Aurora Land and Olympus Land. In my opinion, the inability to invade other kingdoms takes away an important part of the Kingdoms experience. Raiding and invading other kingdoms should be part of the gameplay, as they encourage competition and make the game more exciting.

Secondly, I believe /warp pvp should be removed, along with Keep Inventory. PvP should take place at spawn, just like it used to, with spawn claims. This would bring back the classic PvP experience and make fights feel more meaningful.

I would also like to see custom enchants brought back, especially the ones designed for PvP. They added more variety to combat and made PvP more interesting.

Furthermore, I strongly recommend switching the combat system back to Minecraft 1.8 PvP instead of 1.9 PvP. The 1.8 combat system offers a faster, more classic PvP experience that many players prefer.

Finally, I suggest removing minions from the /shop. Looking at the current season, the server's economy has been heavily neglected. Minions contribute to this problem by generating resources automatically, which can disrupt the balance of the economy. Removing them from the shop could help restore a more balanced and competitive economy.

Overall, I believe these changes would improve the Kingdoms experience, bring back the classic PvP gameplay, encourage more competition between kingdoms, and help restore a healthier in-game economy.

I agree with the pvp part and I would suggest that every type of pvp is allowed. so no restrictions like no elytra or no trident.

But I don't agree with the minions part. From the people I have played with recently they all loved that they didn't need to spend real money on some minions. but seller and chunk loader should stay with IRL money cause otherwise everyone has them in a week.

I personally don't agree with allowing elytras and tridents in PvP. The problem is that players can easily abuse these items to escape combat or become almost impossible to catch just by flying away. This makes PvP less about skill and strategy and more about who can escape the easiest. I think PvP should reward players who are actually willing to fight instead of allowing them to avoid combat whenever things don't go their way.

As for minions, I can understand why people enjoy having them in the shop, especially when they don't have to spend real money on them. However, this is the first time I've seen minions implemented in a game mode like this, and in my opinion, they've completely ruined the economy. When players can generate resources automatically without having to put in much effort, those resources lose their value, making it much harder to maintain a balanced economy. Just because players enjoy a feature doesn't necessarily mean it's healthy for the game in the long run.

+1. But keep minions in shop. Bring back nexus with resource points, miner minions are much needed for those.

The other minions were barely used back in the days anyways.

I’m also fan of bringing back the Kingdom Nexus. It gave players the ability to do all kinds of things in one place, making everything much easier and more organized. Nowadays, there are so many different commands, and a lot of players don’t even know what each command does. The Nexus made everything much clearer, more accessible, and easier to understand for everyone. Besides being useful, it was also a really fun addition to the game that made the overall experience better. I honestly think bringing it back would be a great improvement for both new and experienced players.

I dont agree with removing aurora and olympus I've seen an uplift in new players who do build everything in olympus regardless of the fact it can be invaded because they value the traditional playstyle of the game however having aurora gives us options and brings in a wider player base,I know I personally wouldnt really play if there were no olympus because it would defeat the point of working hard on builds etc since they'll just be griefed, which is something a lot of players enjoy, not to mention to function as a kingdoms you still need to keep all of the important parts such as farms and minions in olympus to keep them functioning and keep gaining money and power so it does balance out a bit and makes every kingdom raidable if theyre actually trying to gather resources

I do agree! Aurora has been nerfed well enough that its impossible to only live from there. For example no custom generator and slower crops. While olympus is the main farming area and players have massive farms here which are nice to invade.

I honestly didn't even know Nexus was still around, so that's news to me. And what do you mean by custom enchants have never left? Where are Razor, Hook, Streamlining, and all the other old PvP enchants? Just because some custom enchants are still in the game doesn't mean the old PvP enchant system is still there. A lot of the classic enchants that made PvP fun and unique are missing. Bringing back a few custom enchants isn't the same as bringing back the original system we used to have.

I understand your point, but honestly, the way you want the game to work sounds more like a regular survival server than an actual Kingdoms gamemode. The whole point of Kingdoms is raiding, PvP, invading enemy kingdoms, protecting your resources, and fighting for power. If players can simply build safely in Aurora without having to worry about being raided, it takes away a huge part of what makes Kingdoms fun and competitive.

Building is definitely part of the game, but it shouldn't come at the cost of the core gameplay. Risk and reward are what make raiding and defending your kingdom exciting. If people want to build without the risk of getting raided, regular survival is a better option. Kingdoms should encourage competition between kingdoms, not give players a safe place where they can avoid the main aspects of the gamemode.

There is still a lot of risk and reward due to the fact you cannot gain any power by existing purely in aurora, aurora is where people build big buildings and shops and places to meet with allies however none of that can exist without having farms and minions and a nexus operating in olympus unless you somehow just have someone really powerful bankrolling your builds, there are still a lot of active invasions especially recently

I understand your point, but we also have to look at the current state of the server. You keep mentioning how Aurora attracts new players and how there are plenty of active invasions, but realistically, how many players are actually online and actively participating in these activities? A system might look good on paper, but if the player base isn't active enough to support it, then what's the point?

My point is simple : One world would create more interaction, more competition, more PvP, and potentially more raids. Kingdoms should reward players who are willing to take risks, not give them a way to avoid them. The goal should be to bring back the competitive gameplay that makes Kingdoms unique, rather than maintaining a system that might have worked for people that want to build.

To be realistic yes it may become slightly more active for a while if the changes youve suggested are implemented however servers with these mechanics that I played previously had a very high turnaround as only the hard-core pvpers stayed and scared off every other player,we would also have to consider making seasons shorter as eventually a pvp everywhere server without the antigriefing rules we have in aurora would become uninhabitable as there would be no longevity protecting kingdoms land,so the resets would have to be much more often

I have to agree with Pixi on this one. Many, and I mean MANY, players moved to Aurora because they were tired of the constant invasions from certain kingdoms. Even I started building massive bases in Aurora because I knew my builds would actually last there.

I can give plenty of examples of kingdoms I used to invade daily that eventually ended up quitting. And why? Because constantly getting invaded while trying to build up your base simply isn't fun for everyone. Many of those players moved to Aurora, where they could actually enjoy building and progressing without having to worry about losing everything. Now, many of them stick around, even if some Olympus claims get invaded from time to time.

Simply removing this feature won't solve the issue. There are PLENTY of claims in Olympus worth invading, with way more valuable stuff than you'll find in most Aurora claims. I think we should focus on making Olympus more rewarding for PvP rather than taking away one of the main reasons players choose to play in Aurora.

Honestly, I think you're overcomplicating things and making excuses for a system that doesn't really fit what Kingdoms is supposed to be. Saying that only hardcore PvPers would stay is just an assumption, not a fact. PvP servers need a balance, sure, but protecting entire worlds from raiding isn't the solution. And the argument about having to reset seasons more often doesn't really make sense to me. Resets aren't necessary just because raiding is allowed everywhere. They're usually needed when the economy gets completely inflated, loot becomes way too easy to obtain, or progression reaches a point where there's nothing left to work towards. If the economy and loot haven't been massively expanded, why would we suddenly need constant resets?Honestly, it feels like you're trying to turn Kingdoms into a safe survival server instead of fixing the actual problems with the gamemode. Raiding, defending your land, and fighting over resources are supposed to be core mechanics, not things the server needs to protect players from. If people want a world where their builds can never be touched, that's fine, but that shouldn't come at the expense of the competitive experience for everyone else.

Besides, you weren't even around in 2019–2022, so you have no idea how fun and active the server actually was back then. You're arguing about something you didn't even experience yourself. No offense, but you're honestly just talking bullshit about a time you know nothing about.

@pixigrrrl And if it really wasn't better back then, according to you, then how come we had so many more players during that time? The player base started dying when Leon introduced all those ridiculous nerfs and unnecessary changes. That's when people started leaving. You can't ignore the fact that the server was much more active before all those changes were made.
