Title PvP optional everywhere and toggle pvp command

Description of suggestion
A feature on the survival server that gives players the option to PvP anywhere in the world (including claims) and the ability to toggle PvP on and off for themselves.

Possible side effects of suggestion
This would be a good idea because:

1. When players want to fight each other they're forced to meet up at the PvP vibing area outside of spawn in order to fight, which some players find annoying due to the builds in the way, getting pushed into Mini Kit PvP and even the natural terrain can disrupt or mess up the fight, which no one likes. Allowing PvP outside of that area between two or more players that have it toggled on gives them the ability to fight wherever they want, which most players that often fight in PvP including myself would prefer. This doesn't necessarily mean the PvP vibing area will be abandoned, as pinata parties are often hosted there as well where players still often fight each other over it.

2. This idea motivates players to create builds or use some of their builds as an arena or fighting ground, and could even profit off it.

3. This gives players the opportunity to use different items that Foxcraft's PvP vibing area has disabled, such as tridents, cobwebs, elytras, and more, giving players the opportunity to fight using their playstyle.

4. This also keeps the peace among players who dont PvP or dont want to, being able to toggle it off only outside of the pvp vibing area.

The way I see it, this would benefit both the players that like PvPing, and those who don't.

The PvP toggle should have a 48h cooldown in both directions.
Without it, people will just use it to trap others or chicken out, which makes the whole PvP aspect meaningless.
If you decide to turn it on, you should be prepared to defend yourself for the next two days.

Claims should also have their own PvP toggle.
Maybe even with a full one-week cooldown.
That way, PvP can actually take place in the areas it’s meant for, without people abusing the switch whenever they start losing or back out.

Besides that, sounds fun

This could also open the way for traps. however you have to be careful to not tp trap. using a kb sword and a dripstone would prob be a very simple trap. along with the issue of items being dropped. would keep inventory be on for any pvp kill but off for any other kill? or are all items dropped?

But I think this could be a good change including Sprenk's idea.

I would presume if staff do implement this feature that keepinv will be enabled when dying to another player. However the pvp toggle command partially counters this since if disabled, players cant be knocked into traps. Though TP trapping has also existed for a long time and players still get banned for it on Foxcraft. Any player affected by this can make a report with countless amounts of evidence, for example the existence of the trap, the death message, the items that the trapper has acquired...

I agree a PVP Toggle could work really good for players of the community who want to PVP anywhere, heres why.

1. The PVP zone has many restrictions that make it very hard to pvp in general which is a reason why its so dead at certain times of the day/week.
2. Players who PVP on the server would most likely love a toggle to pvp inside of their claims and builds. Many builds on the server would make really good Arenas for fun and engaging PVP Videos or tournaments.

3. Staff would definetly have to take a while to figure out how to implement it into the server. Tp trapping is a big issue aswell but it has been going on for years on various servers that also have PVP toggles. (I talk about the TP Trap problem later) You would have to be diligent and not be an idiot with the toggle, i do think however there should be a toggle with the claims plugin and a different toggle for everywhere in the world.

The PVP zone as we know it should NOT be taken away if this is added. Because people do obviously like pvping in the zone we are not saying to get rid of it. We are just simply asking for a fun tool to make the server more engaging for the community!

(Positive Side Affects of a PVP Toggle)

1. It could really influence more activity in the building and PVP side of the community because builders could build massive zones for tournaments and for their teams to fight together or make engaging wars and story events.

2. The Toggle may also help with Advertising because people could see foxcraft as a server where people can PVP freely and build, along with just vibing, whenever and wherever they please!

3. Sprenkyy did say "The PvP toggle should have a 48h cooldown in both directions. Without it, people will just use it to trap others or chicken out, which makes the whole PvP aspect meaningless." This could easily be solved by locking the (two or more) players into the fight so they would not be able to toggle it off once they are in a fight still making it a viable option for PVP.

(Negative Side Affects of a PVP Toggle)

1. Tp trapping would be a major issue Yes, but that does not mean solutions cannot be made for it! a toggle right away after a fight would be good for traps not to happen. The players talking about dripstone traps and other traps have good points. Staff would have to figure out how to combat this on their own but Vowelss made a great point about the TP trapping issue. "Any player affected by this can make a report with countless amounts of evidence, for example the existence of the trap, the death message, the items that the trapper has acquired..." If that happens the players should be able to get their items back by making a ticket with all the evidence they have and the person who trapped them getting a ban or a harsh warning.

2. The talk about keep inventory with the toggle is a good point it already is part of the main PVP arena so it should obviously be apart of the toggle so players should not have to worry about losing their items in battles.

(Closing)

I Really think the 48 hour cooldown idea is pretty baseless and stupid because if you want to make a solution for the TP trap idea or other ideas in general there should not be a cooldown. A cooldown for the toggle would punish players who turn it on instead of rewarding those players with a fun and engaging experience. Especially a 48 hour toggle, it would make the players using it want to avoid it entirely therefore making it a useless feature.

The Staff should really implement this. It would play a big part in growing the community even bigger on the Survival server. PVP is a fundamental part of the Minecraft and Foxcraft community as a whole. Adding this will benefit builders and PVPers alike and could perhaps bring the community closer with fun staff, and player events.

I see many players using the toggle if it ever gets added.
