Kingdoms

Description of suggestion
Reset kingdoms
Reset the nether, End, And the normal world
Delete the debuffed sets and make it a nice game again to PVP and give it a new start

Possible side effects of suggestion
Kingdoms would be booming again old and new players would come to give it a start.
The PVP Would be fair and no problems with people that stay running because they need to pot first
No one will hate each other again and new friendships could be created
I don't see negative side effects on a reset

Everyone doing -1 is stacked asf zzzzzz
Nobody wants to lose their sht lmfao
it isnt difficult to get stuff back... couldnt care less about losing stuff. the reason people are giving -1's is because this is a pointless suggestion. make suggestions based on the problems kingdoms currently has or give feedback on threads explaining said problems. (such as neutral kingdoms and tridents, for example). but there's absolutely no thought process into begging for a reset. the only valid reason i've seen here for a reset is that it would attract a new audience. traantjes' comment about "No one will hate each other again and new friendships could be created" isn't true. people will form the same groups and hate the same people.

why tbh do u like the pvp or the end or even the nether that is build full with nasty things?
ni but if a reset is coming all the people that got keys and stuff wil loose there money and tokens wil be gone they got ore the stuff they got with it

Figured I'd chime in on this since this has gotten so much attention.

Kingdoms, despite contrary belief, is actually a decently balanced gamemode. I'm not denying that there are a few things that are relatively OP, but for the most part, anyone can succeed if they put the effort in.

Scrolling down this thread, I see a lot of quite well known names, and without calling out anyone specifically, most of the major people +1ing this are people who aren't especially good at the gamemode. Most of you guys basically pvp, build traps, sorta grind for gear, and die for 95% of the time you spend online. Kingdoms takes time to get good at. It has complex and diverse mechanics. It's not some thing you can just load into for the first time and instantly do well at. It's not even some thing you can load into after a month of gameplay and expect to know everything about it.

I'd also like to add my opinion on Assassin's gear and the custom kits we have. There have been a lot of people saying it's overpowered, and to be honest I really feel like that's not true. It's different than normal Minecraft, but when looking at it as a completely separate game mode, it actually works pretty well.
The kits not like normal Minecraft armor, and as long as you guys keep expecting them to work the same way, you'll keep being disappointed.
Damage wise, if anyone actually looked at the numbers, they'd find the kit gear equal in damage protection, but slightly better in durability as far as I've been able to tell. The main problem is that Assassin's kits give the weakness debuff. Not going to lie, watching two people fight each other with weakness and then cry about the kits being overpowered is a bit disappointing. Take some time, figure out how the gear works, run some math, and if you still think it's unbalanced, let me know. Don't try to get it removed on the forums because you can't figure out how it works and expect pvp on kingdoms to be like Kitpvp.

Gems have been severely nerfed, really don't think they need to be removed or nerfed further. They make combat more interesting, and make it so you have to be more careful about who you fight.

Again, if you're looking for carefree default pvp, we have Kitpvp or Survival or duels. Kingdoms isn't the place for that.

As for the big question, Does kingdoms need to be reset?

I personally think most of the people requesting this are looking for a lazy way to get to the top. They aren't willing to put the time and effort into learning the details of the gamemode, and instead are hoping a reset will allow them to get a quick jump on things.
The problem with this is that without major mechanics changes, within a month or two the more skilled players will have put enough distance between themselves and the people wanting a reset that it will all have been for nothing, and we'll be back to square one.
Speaking as one of the most successful kingdoms players, a reset really wouldn't bother me. I built myself up once, and I can do it again because I took the time to learn how the gamemode works.
I think that everyone expecting it to fix the problems that they're having will find themselves in the exact same place a month after the reset.
Don't try and change the server to fit your play style, change your play style to fit the server. The designers did a good job.

Would it bring some old players back?
Maybe, some would probably come. But again, if the root of the issue is you being outplayed, that's not going to change, and chances are they're pretty good at the game too, and will only increase your competition.

Thanks for taking the time to read through this, I hope it's useful to some of you.

-1 Lol YOU don't see any problems resetting? if you played for some years you'd know A reset never solved any problems at all. The only effect was good active players leaving.
Btw There have been more suggestions about kingdoms resetting, making another one WILL NOT make a difference, stop making the same post topics, because this will be denied anyway since there is no reset planned, and probaly won't be any time soon. ( making a reset topic will be denied because it's just the same as other ones before it and they got denied there is 0.0 use making a new one, wheter it is you or anyone else making the same suggestion all over again )

resetting the end and nether has also no use.
Why would you need a reset there? the end alright I get it, lots of builds etc and still who cares???
Why would you need a reset for the nether? the only thing I could possibly think of is; you want to mine more blaze spawners. This reset will not benefit any new/unranked player in any way. Only ranked players like me and yourself.

I also agree with most facts @zZer0_ & @ShadowLynx_ made!
