Closed Skyblock jail rule.

• Possible side effects of suggestion: Today (01/04/2016) at around 2:30am EST. @11kobeer made a jail on the skyblock server. I assume said jail was made due to the fact that players were exploiting a glitch where you could climb walls with water buckets when no one else can see the water. (make's it look like you are flying.) Now this jail was never specified as to how long you would be jailed for. I was informed from @__Diabolical__ that you would be jailed 10 times then you would be perm jailed. He also said after the 4th time being jailed then the staff member jailing you could jail you for 10 days if they wanted to. This seems a little over the edge if you ask me, and a few other skyblock players are quite astonished at what they were told. So my suggestion is to make the rule a little clear, say what you can get jailed for, how long, how many times ETC.

Actually if you disable water buckets & lava buckets in pvp there is.
And if they block up the barrier path.

I think jailing is a bit extreme but they've been warned and don't listen so...

however it will also be beneficial for us staff to use the jail as an alternative way to give punishment to players with other reasonings.

I think this is a very good idea... If a member isn listening they get jailed as if they continue to do so for 10 times it would be a perm jail which I think is far bc you where listen to the rules! However I do think thier soils be an area in ban appeal for a jail appeal to discuss an perm jail! Thier also needs to be a way to buy a realease from jail!

Here is what I said to the team:

I have made a jail for Skyblock as I am aware that people have been making it atop the PvP area.
The jail name is: jail
If someone is atop the PvP area, warn them. If they do not come off, please jail them for 5 minutes. If they do it again, 30 minutes, and if a third time, 1 hour. If they do it a 4th time, you decide how long to jail the player, but please use common sense. If they don't follow you for 10 times and are obviously pushing your buttons, perm jail them.
Jail commands:
/jail {player} jail 10s (10 seconds for example)
/jail {player} jail 10m (10 minutes for example)
/jail {player} jail 10h (10 hours for example)
/jail {player} jail 10d (10 days for example)
/jail {player} jail (perm jails the player for example)

When I said the 10th time, that was just a figure of expression. By that, I meant if someone is constantly doing it after being jailed multiple times, then a staff member could jail them. If the staff member truly feels that they should perm jail on the 4th time, they can go ahead.
