  • *Your in-game name: IAmTheDaddy
  • *Is your suggestion for the server and/or forum: Server
  • *Description of suggestion: Some if not all mods/admins should be taught how to screenshare other players. If you don't know what a screenshare is, it's when a staff suspicious of a player for hacking shares screens through skype or join.me and has the player go through their .minecraft folder and such to check for a hacked client.
  • I know a lot of players on this server who have been recorded by other players or staff for hacking. Sometimes the decision is questionable and it is hard to tell whether they are legit or not. This causes innocent players (like me yesterday) to get banned for hacks and hackers to be innocent until proven guilty. I think allowing the staff to screenshare players when a player denies that they are hacking but looks fishy would eliminate a lot of false bans and stop hackers from getting away with hacking. When a staff is screensharing a player, no matter how close the in game call may be on whether they are hacking or not, it will be quite obvious to the staff if the player is legit or not.
  • Screenshot/Video showing suggestion: Here is a video I found on youtube teaching the basics of screensharing players:

Anyone could easley delete their hacked client before screen sharing. Most staff alresdy know how to screenshare anyways. So this shall be denied.

Screen sharing proves nothing. They could easily hide the folder while they're being asked to ss and then they "aren't hacking" even though they'll just put the folder back when you're done. Not efficient or effective at all.
