Personally I think that just removes any sort of “privacy” a player has. There are people who don’t wish for their balances to be public knowledge, especially when people are snooping through their balance while they’re offline.

Also, apart from curiosity reasons there’s really no need for someone to know how much money a certain player has. If it’s really that important to them, they’re more than welcome to check once the player is online and actively talking in chat.
