  • Your in-game name: C2Obezerk
  • Is your suggestion for the server and/or forum: Skyblock/Forums rules page
  • Possible side effects of suggestion: Today (01/04/2016) at around 2:30am EST. @11kobeer made a jail on the skyblock server. I assume said jail was made due to the fact that players were exploiting a glitch where you could climb walls with water buckets when no one else can see the water. (make's it look like you are flying.) Now this jail was never specified as to how long you would be jailed for. I was informed from @__Diabolical__ that you would be jailed 10 times then you would be perm jailed. He also said after the 4th time being jailed then the staff member jailing you could jail you for 10 days if they wanted to. This seems a little over the edge if you ask me, and a few other skyblock players are quite astonished at what they were told. So my suggestion is to make the rule a little clear, say what you can get jailed for, how long, how many times ETC.

Also a perm jail sentence? I mean c'mon isn't that a bit much?, For one you'd never be able to play Skyblock again, and two You'd be forced to do nothing but sit in that room.

Let me clear some misunderstandings, Kobeer created a jail on Skyblock to stop players from making their way ontop of the invisible barriers with a water or lava bucket however it will also be beneficial for us staff to use the jail as an alternative way to give punishment to players with other reasonings.

Quote from @11kobeer himself that was sent to us staff members

"If someone is atop the PvP area, warn them. If they do not come off, please jail them for 5 minutes. If they do it again, 30 minutes, and if a third time, 1 hour. If they do it a 4th time, you decide how long to jail the player, but please use common sense. If they don't follow you for 10 times and are obviously pushing your buttons, perm jail them."

I can guarantee you that nobody will be getting jailed for 10 days, The maximum jail time a player would receive would be no longer than 12 hours and this is pushing me to the limit (10+ warnings), However i cannot speak behalf of others. As for permanent jail time do not worry, This is the absolute last resort again i doubt staff members will be planning to jail someone permanently as that would be extreme.

A higher rank staff member will make these rules available to all players soon either in-game or a thread will be created to update players.

No problem, To any players who are still worried about the jail times, I would apperciate if you could direct them to this thread or update the players about the jail times.
