For which gamemode is this suggestion:
Allow us to use the word Gay

Description of suggestion:
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community I feel you should let us use the word “Gay” and other words that has to do with the LGBTQIA+ community. No, this doesn’t mean the use of “Faggot” “Fag” and “f4g” and other homophobic word variation needs to be uncensored but the words like Gay and Lesbian aren’t bad words so why are we treating like it is? I find it ridiculous that our community is being limited in using the word that describe us. I’ve spoken to many players about this who like to vote for the uncensorship because it’s not a bad word.

Possible side effects of suggestion:
I know that there will be players who might use the word Gay as an insult but that’s why we have staff members, They are able to moderate the chat and give players their deserved consequence, I feel like homophobia and racism should be treated more strictly as suicide rates are high in the minor communities for LGBTQIA+ and people who deal with racism. We need to help our community and not allow bullying to spread.

It bothers me so much that I have to use numbers and extra letters, While it’s so easy for another player to just say “I’m straight”
 
It is 2017.

We are in a year where people like Dansors and like myself, I'm sure there are others, are accepted. So the word should be accepted too.

Censoring it, as bad as it sounds, seems like it adds to the homophobia. I get it's trying to protect us, but as Dansors said, you have Staff for that.

I completely agree.

It’s the staffs job to moderate the chats, it wasn’t an issue back then so it shouldn’t be an issue now, That’s why we have staff.

Besides its ridiculous to think Gay is considered a swear word, I’d also like to point out that you can use the word Gay on sglacier, so why remove it from creative?

Using the word "Gay" nothing is wrong with that, gay is a sexuality not a word to be filtered or punished for being used. Of course if gay was used as an insult or as a way to be homophobic, then it'd be a mute.

That’s not how it works Ron, Since when was being straight ever considered a bad thing? Since when was straight people the minority? I don’t see straight people getting beaten up on the dark alley or having to come out to their parents.

I really hope I’m mistaken but if you’re trying to compare saying straight in the negative way as people would use gay negatively then we have a problem.

You can’t compare them, Both straight and gay aren’t negative words.

Thinking "gay" is a negative word or insulting, you're being homophobic yourself without meaning to. GAY in itself is not the HOMOPHOBIA, it's simply a word used for people who like their own gender. It's when GAY and other slurs are used as INSULTS it's homophobia, not the word gay in itself.
 
Woah this thread i can tell is going to explode into a whole mess of problems i hope we don't need to call in keemstar for drama alert maybe ill get leafy and jake paul to try and calm this down a little bit because why do we need it to be rainbows and glitter i actually called somebody a 'gay piece of poop that should be hit by a bus like seriously why tf do you like guys i hope you have fun getting STDS'
