Description of suggestion
I think once or twice a week there should be some sort of server wide event. It would come as an announcement broadcasted to all servers with a clickable message to bring you to the event. This event could be one of many things, such as: fighting a custom boss, battling waves of special mobs, fighting multiple enderdragons, a huge pvp tournament, etc. Players could be rewarded with tokens for participating, or other ingame rewards. There even could be a certain event key with a rare drop-rate that lets you open an event chest with special rewards.
Possible side effects of suggestion
A larger diversity of game play and attracting more players.
The idea needs tweeking but I think that a lot of people would like this.
