My excavation skill is like 82 and is still going up as i am clearing a large area. Every now and then another skill will go up. Does leveling up skills actually do anything or is it just there to say "Hey I've got this lvl in this skill"?

Ill give an example..


So lets say an axe lvl is 1


and an axe lvl is 1200


If the two 1v1. The axe lvl 1200 can one hit the axe lvl 1

but the axe lvl 1 has to hit like 20 times to kil the axe lvl 1200

It gives u an advantage in that category for example if ur excavation is high ur super drill would be for a longer amount of time
