Title FoxCreative Revamp

Description of suggestion
Its gonna be a few tweaks.

1 - Cooldown Timer Changed
Make it reset, when the server reboots every day. It lets us plan better, and not question our memory if we did, or didnt. After a reboot, we will always know, that we will have it available.

Main reason for wanting the reset of the skill to happen with the auto server reboot, is that you might not be able to do it the same time every day, meaning you will lose out, if you have a busy IRL. Resetting the timer with the auto reboot, will but the control back to the player, on what time they want to use it, so it actually fits with their real life, rather than being punished for having a real life.

2- Block Availablity.

I undestand certain blocks shouldnt be available, like iron blocks, diamonds etc etc.

LOGS: Tree logs wont make a difference, and it DOES mean something in builds.
There is no reason, why Logs should not be available.

Other blocks that should be made available to place:
Obsidian (we are oneblock, not survival. No reason to not be able to place it)
Water Placement. - NOT THE INFINITE BUCKET! but allow pickup and placement of water.
Ore Blocks - Items dont drop from them anyway, right? So why not let us be able to build with them. Diamons and netherite excluded, ofc.
Dead Bush - It has no purpose. No advantage. Why cant we place this? a stick? thats all it gives. A stick..

Plants: The lushcave plant things for water, are so inconsequential, again, so reason, it should not be available in creative. It will never give a player advantage. Its just a decoration item.

On the note of what you should be able to and not, lets look at the ones >THAT I THINK< should NOT be allowed.

Kelp
Nether vines (though add them to the oneblock for drops in the nether phase)
Redstone Devices and Dust. - If you want to build big redstone things, farm it. Dont use creative. Gives the player something to farm for.
Moss Block - You can gain infinite moss from a single block. Giving anyone who paied, a really big advantage i starting a moss farm. (make it drop in Ob though if it is not already)

3 - Timer use.
Make it so it only counts the time spent, in creative. So if we have maybe used 40 minutes on something, let us exit creative mode, and save the remaining 20 minutes, for something else, that day. IT SHOULD NOT ROLL OVER.

I might have forgotten some things, but i would love to see a revamp of the Foxcreative!

Possible side effects of suggestion
More creativity, More Freedom.

Decided to just ignore you on here Klop. Nothing you say has any value anyway. Why are you even still here, wasting your time, on a forum for a server you got banned on..? Do you really have nothing better to do with your life?

I fully agree with zephy. However, I'd like to explain why certain blocks aren't placeable but can definitely be. A long time ago when creative was first introduced, there were a lot if dupes where if you placed a plant or similar on a block and broke the block beneath, the plant in survival would drop essentially duping them. To prevent this they were removed from being able to be placed. However, atm there is a better system in place which these old ones dont use that somehow prevents the drop on breaking the block beneath. The named plants etc. mentioned should be able to be placed and not drop if added to that config list. Redstone had the same reason. Its just in general blocks which need a support block somewhere.

Oh and logs were made unplaceable cause you could strip them and then get them dropping but pale logs are placeable and dont have this issue so should be trivial to have these be placeable

The blocks and items that are currently disabled were likely exploitable in the past. For example, you can scoop up obsidian and turn it into a lava bucket. If players were allowed to place obsidian in foxcreative, it could easily lead to new exploits.

In my opinion, the blocks and items that are currently restricted should remain that way. There’s a good chance players have abused them before, and staff should only allow items that cannot be exploited.

I also think that “3 - Timer use” is a bit overpowered. foxcreative is already very useful, especially if you could toggle the timer on and off whenever you want.

As for the items you mentioned, I don’t see why they shouldn’t be allowed. Kelp can be placed, but when harvested it doesn’t drop an item, so it can’t really be abused. Nether vines are mainly decorative, and even if someone found a way to duplicate them, they can’t be sold, so they’re essentially useless for profit.

Redstone is already easy to obtain and isn’t something players need to farm actively, since miner minions provide plenty. More advanced redstone components like repeaters, comparators, and observers are already disabled. Basic items like pistons, redstone dust, blocks, and rails don’t seem like a problem imo.

Moss is also just a decorative block, and I don’t see any realistic way players could exploit it.
