Hoppers

Currently, the default behavior of hoppers has been modified so that they transfer entire stacks at once instead of moving items one by one. This was likely done to improve server stability or player comfort, but it also removes many interesting gameplay possibilities such as item sorting systems and other automation mechanics. It’s unfortunate that this change limits creative and technical gameplay. I would like to request that hoppers be restored to their standard functionality. Thank you for considering this!

There are other ways to address this issue while still respecting the default behavior, such as using various plugins that were specifically designed for this purpose. You can find several examples listed below.

Martin I think your new. It doesn't work like this as the server on all gamemodes is very afk farm and economy based. Hoppers are used for farms if they get changed every1 would quit maybe it's nice for a new person but if you play for a long time than you will understand. You can use sorter minions to sort items

I’m new to Fox, but certainly not new to Minecraft, so I completely understand how things work. As mentioned above, there are many things you can do, but also quite a few that you can’t. That’s why I wanted to share this general message to get a better idea of what is and isn’t possible. I know that sorter minions can be used, but that approach leans more toward a pay-to-play system, which I’m personally not in favor of.

I understand this. But fox is not like vanilla Minecraft, you know survival and oneblock. It's kind of like hypixel Skyblock. Not vanilla at all but there are a lot of restrictions with plugins as there are so many it will mess with each other, it would just fck the whole server. With that I mean lag and support and players. The lag would be insane there's already a hopper limit so we need to have the stacks for our insane farms with 1000 skeleton spawners and autocrafters autosmelters. It just won't work if we do it per one. The whole server would be cooked bcs of lag and players quit which means less support and not enough funds. This is just not a option later you will understand this. Foxcraft is not just Minecraft it's foxcraft.

I completely understand your point, no worries. As mentioned above, there are now several plugins that can maintain normal functionality while providing greater stability than what we currently have. These are just some ideas. It’s clear you’re not a fan, and that’s totally fine. Noted.

You're now displaying the function of minions with these 3 plugins.

1. - Sorter
2. - Sorter
3. - Collector

But you can still built every redstone machine using hoppers. You just have to break thru some limitations.

But everything is possible. Even auto sorters & crafters.

Why the sudden hostility? Get a grip, man. It’s just a game. This is the suggestions page, where everyone can share their ideas and discuss them. 99% of these things never even make it into the final game. If you can’t hold a normal, adult conversation, then maybe it’s better if you just stay quiet.

I have a pretty good idea, but again, it’s just a suggestion. What can or can’t be done is up to the people who manage the server. Still, thanks for your valuable feedback!
