- Possible side effects of suggestion: Well because of this feature it rather makes helpers useless, I mean they cant warn for spam, they cant warn for excessive use of CAPS. Because this plugin prevents the player from using caps. So why are helpers even needed? To tempban hackers? To mute advertisers? I really have no clue. This is why I personally would love for the chat filter to be removed.

Too be fair I quite like the chat filters, We already have to deal with hackers and rude players, Players can still use excessive caps and spam since I've been warning players today on Skywars and Skyblock endlessly, The chat filter mostly blocks out the curse words on servers
Also even just tempbaning hackers and muting players who advertise are still good enough reasons to keep Helpers

Yes I know, but the main target of helper is to moderate the chat right? But with the chat filter it's pretty much doing the helper's job.
True but there is a 1 second delay between every sentence you send in chat, so spam is not that big of a deal anymore. I'm just afraid of it ruining the helper rank.
That's true but since the server is growing and well with my timezone I haven't seen much Mods or Admins on as often when I'm online so I have to deal with the warnings, Tempbanning and muting players so it's still an ideal rank to have as there are more Helpers than mods and admin.
Also there are spams, Advertising, Random messages, R18+ content and other messages that players type to get around the chat filter so it's not all censored by the Chat filter but fair enough reason, I'm quite curious to see what happens to this suggestion, Thanks for suggesting it though appreciate it

Racial, homophobic, etc slurs should always be blurred and never said.
But as for swearing, (Not slurs) I don't think swearing is a bad thing and I never have.
As long as they're not used in a really hateful way there is nothing wrong with them.
They're just words and mean nothing. And I honestly find it ridiculous they're now blurred out.
Whether people on the server like it or not people are going to bypass the chat filter in SOME way. So whats the point in even having the filter?
and I still have yet to find the logic in blocking CAPS

What if helpers aren't on? Seems useless to take it away. It doesn't ruin the helper rank, it aids the helpers.

It usually is better to keep the chat clean even if most people don't have a problem with it.

I'm sorry if this gives off a rude vibe I'm not trying to be that way but I genuinely don't understand what the big deal is.
It's only bad if you MAKE it bad. We're raised blindly following the rule you're not supposed to say these certain words and no one explains why besides "They're just bad" or "'They're rude" But WHY are they bad WHY are they rude.
No one has ever answered that question for me seriously in a way that convinces me that they're something more than just words with no meaning.
I read everything and I always do. I understand what you mean when you say its only bad if you make it bad. I just think it is more professional to discourage slurs with censoring. People can take slurs the wrong way anyway.
The filters are pointless you can just use Numbers or say the word is all caps and the filter doesn't catch it
