For which gamemode is this suggestion:
Whole server

Description of suggestion:
My suggestion is for the new helpers that would come in at any given time. Let’s be honest, new helpers want to know everything and be as confident in themselves like no other, and sometimes they make a mistake. Putting them on p-helper (which looks like half the staff team now) makes them look unqualified and to be honest kind of looks bad for the server knowing they picked someone who screwed up enough for a staff position on Fox. Yes there’s a “test”, but hell, I took it and it was the easiest thing ever. I say when helpers are first accepted they should have prerequisites, like to take a new, specific test. Showing different scenarios on anything that could possibly happen in a handbook and use the content in a test. I’d help you make it if this got accepted lol. It would better prepare them to be a helper. After that, a “background check” do they report? what’s their ban/ mute history looking like? etc. after they pass all that then they should be worthy of the helper tag

Possible side effects of suggestion:
More experienced helpers, better preparing them to moderate fox craft without making a mistake that could effect someone else in a negative way, even if it’s minor.

Look at the staff, 5/7 of them have P-Helper

I disagree and agree with this, I’m really 50/50. I might have to disagree this is my reasoning behind it.

I actually like the idea that Helpers get P-Helper after being Helper for awhile, You are given a handbook for a reason. The only reason why most helpers are currently p-Helper is because of inactivity. Giving them P-Helper publically shames them and let’s be honest nobody wants to look bad on Foxcraft which motivates P-Helpers to push and become active to clear their names.

Obviously if they have a legit reason for inactivity they wouldn’t get the P-Helper title.

Staffing isnt hard to do and every helper that is P-Helper for inactivity should just get demoted because they more than likely will just log on and afk like they do on Kitpvp all the time

Most of our current p-helpers probably filled out the helper app.

The question "how many hours can you dedicate to foxcraft daily" Most of them mostly put more than an hour

While they cant even log in for 10 mins.

I completely agree about the public shaming part, but it also can make the server look bad in a way, especially when half the helpers are p-helper. Pushing them harder is kind of a stretch, mainly cause it’s not super easy to get p helper so you think they would’ve learned

I'm also in the same boat as Dansors, maybe instead of p-helper it could be like t-helper for trial helper or something. Then once they get helper tag or something if they mess up be put on p-helper.

You could solve both by doing away with P-Helper and introducing a three strike system of some kind.

3 strikes = you're out.

When you get 3 strikes and demoted there is your public shame.

I don't think having the P-Helper labeled globally motivates them anymore than a strike system. In both instances getting into further trouble results in a demotion.

So you get the privacy of the discpline system from public (which is more professional) and you still have the same motivational push to do better. Perhaps doing better could erase past warnings (make this the only way). For even more motivation you have to have zero active warnings to be eligible for promotion. So if you have warnings work hard to get rid of them. This would make you work harder on the server for that moooderator role.

P-Helper IMO is unprofessional (that's coming from the creator of the rank)

I don’t know who this kid is but +1 on the suggestion! You should apply for Helper
