Description of suggestion
As a new player on this towny server, I do understand things like these might have been around longer than I'm here, but still it bothers me : cobble/lava griefing.
I started a town with a friend, and within seconds a random guy teleported (because towns are public when they are created for some reason.) He tried pushing us out of the claim to kill us and we were not so impressed. However, after a few minutes he started making large towers and shapes around the only chunk of our town and started pouring lava from it, as annoying as it was we still thought we could clean it up with the 2 of us, but then he started throwing water down, turning it all into cobble.
Within minutes our whole town had become unuseable and we decided to delete it.
We lost 1500$ and a lot of motivation only to this guy cobble griefing us.
I would like to suggest making this bannable, and if it were to happen that staff would help clean it up using world edit.
For us it was a minor setback as we just started, but I could imagine it would totally upset people who are just building for the fun.
