Towny
Description of suggestion
- Return Leaderboards and /topkills
- Remove mcmmo level cap of 500
- Remove /fly from Mysticfox.
- Reduce the size of the announcement when joining the server.
- I assume the leaderboards were removed due to an error. Players did like them however, so they should probably be returned.
- I don't know if the level cap is a bug or an intentional design, but I noticed that I couldn't level up anymore past 500, while those below 500 levels could. This ought to be removed/fixed.
- Giving /fly to mysticfox and higher is pretty unfair. It only reinforces that feeling of pay-to-win. Paying at least $35 so you can fly through the end and loot end cities before other players, fly over walls meant to keep someone out, troll other players; it's bogus.
- A better option is to upgrade the kits so the money will seem worth it. I.e. add valuable items rather than just stacks of wood and cobble.
- The announcement that is given when joining the server comes immediately after town messages. It is large enough to completely drown out the town message so residents don't see it. It should either be made smaller or put on a delay.
Possible side effects of suggestion
- higher ranks will lose a fun toy.
- kits may be abused more depending on a change in items.
- competition may increase.
