Description of suggestion
Skywars, oh boy. I'm sure a new release was planned for this server but it has to be done right. It can't turn out like factions that completely flopped after it's first few days. Maybe it just needed advertising in this case? Basically, my suggestion is to revive the server skywars. I used to play foxcraft skywars almost everyday and sometimes all night. It was one of the most exciting, and balanced skywars servers that I'ved ever played on. Until... you brought these chest with like Sharpness II diamond swords... and these overpowered donator kits. It's just what made it pay to win and so unbalanced. This caused players to drift away. That actually brings me to my first point.
Keep it balanced
Skywars NEEDS to be balanced. Diamond gear should not be easy to get. It should be like the old days, and this is how it was. I am not 100% sure if this is what the old items were like but I suppose I can suggest some of my own things that may appear in chests.
Island Chests
Iron Axe
Iron Pickaxe
Any type of leather armor (with some protection 1)
Iron Helmet
Iron leggings
Wooden planks
Cobblestone
Enderpearls (make rare)
Steak
Apples
Bread
Golden Apples (make rare)
Bow and arrows
Eggs
Snowballs
Center Chests
Diamond boots
Diamond axe
Enderpearls
Healing II potions
God apples (make rare af plz)
Iron sword
Diamond Helmet
Damage splash potions
Weakness splash potions
Speed I potion
And obviously the center chests could also contain the things that may appear in islands. However, if it's possible make it so center items cannot be obtained in a normal island (except enderpearls).
All 8 player maps (or above) w/ bigger maps.
4 player maps are just awful and boring to play on... Maps with 8 players or more is just an insane experience and gives much more of a challenge. Much larger maps will give that experience as well. Small maps are pretty boring and annoying to play on. In some cases, you get picked off right at the start or can just jump to someones island without even having to build. Bigger maps will help give players a fair chance to obtain of their loot in a chest. If you can, make 2 chests per island and perhaps 1 secret one.
ADVERTISING
Okay, no shots taken at cloakfox or anything but the excuse of having no players is always "it just needs advertising." If this is created MAKE SURE you advertise or this gamemode will just fall off probably. I'm an American player so I'm not extremely sure how the server does when it's like 5 am for me. But, most of the afternoon american hours are just dead. But please advertise, this is actually a gamemode I look forward to playing and growing.
Conclusion
That's pretty much all, I'm sure you have much more ideas planned for this gamemode. My suggestion is just the basics of skywars. Hey this is also my first thread in over a year so ya hoo! Hope you take everything I spent time typing into consideration.
