  • *Description of suggestion: so that a specific amount of people can have the ability to /ss or /freeze people that look suspicious to check if they have clients
  • Possible side effects of suggestion: so more hackers would get caught and we wouldnt have to /ban people without 100% evidence because some people that got banned in the past were just laggy or really good

This could be handy and I get where you are coming from but it's needed because you can so easily test if someone is hacking

there is a reason that BIG servers such as badlion (kohiLion) MineHQ primehcf and alot of other PVP oriented servers use this because sometimes it is HARD to tell usually it isnt if there are using killaura or something but some hacks arent as detectable such as Triggerbot Sometimes reach and sometimes antikb

I would love to hear the oppinion of the staff because this is more a dissicion that only staff can make. And if staff comments on this thread they can close this thread because people are post farming a little bit.
 
Why the /ss command is great is because you can catch people who uses macros/ghostclients that can't be catched by recording and that's why this command is being used on the big PvP servers. So basically when you do /ss it freezes the player and the player needs to screenshare so we can look through his files, ONLY the .minecraft folder though, we won't ss players that have obvious hacks like anti-kb/speed etc. However I don't think we REALLY need this plugin but if it gets added it would be a great way to detect ghostclients/macros.

you cant have a hack INSTALLED you could have something like vape that is an inject client but then you could open the minecraft and go though the data and the cache

No, you can't really catch ghost clients or macros unless you get really lucky...

no no no ur a dumbo its obvious to tell if you go into their MODS folder which is where 90% of ghost clients and u can check by trying to open the java part and if it doesnt successfully open its a client

First off, they have to consent to a search through the folders. It's really stupid to hold somebody frozen until they are forced to look through private files on THEIR OWN computer. This idea is honestly stupid, and I'm sticking by my opinion and saying I do not think this will be added

What is there to hide if you are not hacking do u think someone while put their sensitive files in their minecraft versions?

The way most servers do it is ask to SS (and freeze you) if you log off or refuse you get banned

If they lag out it will be VERY suspicious for them to lag out in the screenshare ant not before If they refuse why would they unless they have something to hide (client) You dont need skype you need teamspeak which is easy to download
