I agree it would be nice and less time consuming but it would also be way over powered. People would instantly start to make ridiculously amounts of money. I personally don't think this will be added.
I have to agree with @Justinc2522 with this one, the economy would sky rocket and be ruined. The way it's set up now, it actually takes effort to sell the items and to get the money. If we set up /sell, it'd be way too fast and people would become extremely rich, extremely quickly. One of the biggest reasons there aren't more "Rich" players, or richer "rich" players on the server, is because some people are too lazy to sell the items. I strongly disagree with this suggestion.
