So anyway as many of you know. Foxcraft Survival is the most dead server on foxcraft currently. You're wondering why right? Throughout this suggestion I will be explaining what is causing survival to be dead right now and how it could be fixed. Also credit to @doje for these ideas because on the old forums he did something similar to this but it was looked at and basically just abandoned. So I would say this is Doje and I suggesting it.

*Description of suggestion: Here's the suggestions and an explaination for each
  • Silktouch spawners - My lord. Ever since silkspawners were added everyone was basically stacked with spawners. There are some Xrays that you can enable JUST spawners and you cannot see ores. So that antixray isn't preventing that. Also if you put a Skeleton spawner in the nether wither skeletons will spawn. Which means infinite wither skulls! Back before silkspawners were added hunting for skulls were fun and when you got a Wither Skeleton Skull it was basically an achievement. Now you can just put a skeleton spawner in the nether and not have to run around looking for more wither skeletons. It's so easy to get wither skulls. And when people have a lot of wither skulls that means a lot of beacons and nether stars.
  • Diamond Mountains - Do I even need to explain? There are mountains that are just full of diamonds everywhere. They spawn EVERYWHERE. If you get a fortune III pickaxe you basically can make over 10 stacks of diamond blocks. And with all of those diamonds, there's no fun in mining anymore and looking for diamonds. Everyone is op as **** and diamonds are worthless now. Iron blocks are worth way more than diamond blocks too..
  • No PVP in claimed land - Are you kidding me? Like are you trying to make survival for pussies. Now, I don't want to hear that bull **** "play factions if you want to pvp". Before this was added me and my friends use to make pvp arenas for a to wager in or just tp random pvp for them to pvp for fun. However, it was claimed so no one could break stuff. This is so dumb! People just camp in there houses now. I'm sure this would attract a lot of people back again if it was removed.
  • Custom world generation - Just remove this... It's sooo bad
  • New spawn - We could possibly have a new spawn built. The current one is old as ****. It looks nice but I just hate it for some reason and it doesn't really fit survival. It would just be cool to see a new spawn some time.


Possible side effects of suggestion: It would attract a lot more people to play again.

You're so true I quit survival, they're too many op people from the diamond mountains. I'd rather have a reset to just start over with it without all the sliking spawners, diamond mountains and whatever I skipped. It's also good that you made this Dom thank you :)
 
Survival server will get an update like every other server, I do hope Diamond mountain and things like ability to Silk touch spawners! I haven't played survival server as it was too Op and it didn't feel like a survival server to me at all!

I hope in the update these will be considered! Thanks for the suggestion :)
 
Aaand it's finally made.. cloak really needs to accept this, but I'd say to only reset the server after the full 1.9 update on Survival, not as an update as of now.
 
Great ideas! I think if this happen it will bring more players to survival and foxcraft! A new spawn would be awesome as well! :D

Survival needs a full reset (enderchests and all). Other then that, you mentioned everything.

















I would also like to add that Cloakfox was blazing weed for 24 hours straight before making the survival update.
 
I agree it doesn't feel like a smp at all. Since there is custom biomes and such. Hopefully they'll remove these things and survival will become more popular.
 
Survival really needs a reset, the 1.8 updated killed it and a update should revive it so I say yes.
 
The current Survival straight up sucks the biggest *** known to foxcraft, like there's basically nothing to do other than go to a diamond mountain and mine fking millions of diamonds for no reason, like raiding & pvp needs to be put back into survival the way it used to be so there would be an actual reason why people would want to hide their bases and search for bases to loot and there was actually something to fear (not creepers and that bullshit), with chest protection but you can loot with a hopper minecart, it was cool back then. Now it's just dead and is a creative 2.0 in survival mode for pussies. It needs to be put the way it was.

P.S. With the new spawn thing, it would a lot better if it was a more pvp made spawn.

Try again... But perhaps a bit more formally. Survival will be renewed like every other server.
