Seasons greetings.
Today I bring you one of the most expensive arenas for a PvP battle. Containing 144 respawn anchors with 1 glowstone in each, walls made of reinforced Deepslate and Obsidian spread out among the anchors. There is no equipment required and players do not get food. Bring nothing into the fight but your winning spirits.
Explosive PvP Spleef 1 - Here the arena can be seen from a top/side view. The floor is exactly 10 blocks below the glass top. This is the minimum safe distance for viewers to watch the event without getting hurt by the explosions below. This battle field is 3x3 chunks or 48x48. I recommend to have the arena underground so that the glass blocks are at surface level for ease of viewing as anyone near the side when an explosion happens could be injured or worse.
Explosive PvP Spleef 2 - When a player right clicks an anchor a large AoE explosions follows with multiple fires appearing. The anchor that was clicked will also vanish leaving a hole in the floor leading to lava below unaliving any individual that should meet this peril.
Explosive PvP Spleef 3 - As the event continues players will be trying to avoid explosions, fires, and falls of doom while running around the arena trying to do just such things to the opponents as well as punching players. Last man/women standing is crowned king/queen and gets to rule the kingdom. A Just reward as the perils involved are not for mere mortals.
There is no entrance to walk into the arena and for good reason. Therefore a server admin would need to be involved to teleport players into the arena making sure to disallow players the ability to right click the anchors until the match begins, (stands to reason) or at least have every player honor the rules but we all know the excuse that someone's finger slipped.
There should be a respawn point nearby for the eventual unalivings that will occur. No, a respawn anchor in the overworld does not act as a respawn point. All combatants must activate this respawn point before the event.
Finally it would be prudent to have this build saved on the server so the admin can reset it after each battle, so tournaments can happen easily. Imagine the time and resources to rebuild after a round. If tournaments do happen then to keep it interesting admins could add things like fishing rods for the players or things like snowballs, food and the like. Non of these will activate the anchors, that is still a right click with your hand. This a good reason for servers to have event areas that they can activate explosions without making it so people not in the event can go around blowing things up.
Another strange build idea and this one has 0 redstone. Maybe this is too strange and difficult to implement but I wanted to share with you all anyways.
Hope this helps, have fun out there.
