Creative Update or Reset

So, the first question you’re probably asking is: why even bother? Let’s be honest - creative hasn’t had any game-changing updates in almost five years, and, well, it feels kind of dead at this point. As much as I hate to say it, I think it might be time to move on, as we have with other servers in the past.

Now, I get it—if you’re someone who still plays creative, or even if you used to play back when the creative server was thriving, this probably doesn’t sound great. Nostalgia hits hard, and there are so many memories tied to the current server. It’s been online since 2015, and I spent most of my time on it as a kid, so I totally get not wanting to let it go. But at the same time, we can’t let nostalgia blind us from past memories. A fresh start could be just what creative needs to give it a little bit more life.

There are definitely some issues with the current server. I can’t think of any specific ones right now, but if you’ve played enough, you’ll know what I mean. A reset could fix those and give us a clean slate to build something even better.

Here are a few ideas for a Update or Reset:

  • Bigger plot sizes: The current 80x80 doesn't centre well, a personal nickpick of mine where the /plot centre is a 2x2 (Reference Image Below). Bumping them up to 100x100 would be way better in my opinion - or that of which centres on a 1x1 block.
  • Introduction of Custom Model Data: Adding custom models could make things way more fun and can be used as an incentive for people to buy ranks to unlock unique new build options.
  • New spawn: This one’s pretty self-explanatory.

Additionally, if a reset does happen, there should be an advance notice so we can download our plots beforehand. No one wants to lose their builds without a chance to save them.
I would also put this on a low priority compared to other gamemodes.

I'd love to know anyone else's thoughts or suggestions on this.
