  • *Description of suggestion: Fully update the server 1.9 but have 1.8 combat.
  • Possible side effects of suggestion: I have seen on other servers it is possible to disable 1.9 combat and have 1.8. I think this would be a nice idea because 1.9 has some cool features but everyone hates the pvp so this is a way around it.

With all due respect, I just dislike 1.9 in general. It's not just the PvP, most of the new features aren't Mojangs finest.

Elytra? End rods? More dragons? Farm large amount of obsidian? End crystals? Skeleton horse traps? Faster natural regeneration? Stronger Notch apples?
 
Hell no, we aren't downgrading the server anymore then it already is 1.9 will ruin most servers on Foxcraft.

We can just leave it off some servers like KitPvP, Factions, and Skywars. 1.9 in Skyblock and Survival would be cool. I'd make a killing selling end rods and end crystals.

I said have it so the pvp is 1.8 but the server is 1.9 asI have seen this is an option.

I'm pretty sure this would be way too much unnecessary work. The server seems fine how it is and 1.9 doesn't really add anything amazing to the game..

Oh really? How about being able to re-summon the enderdragon? Elytra? End rods? Chorus fruit? End crystals? End cities? End warships? Badass loot from those places? Stronger Notch apples? Farm large amounts of obsidian between re-summoning the enderdragon? Mending? Frost walker? Not to mention, it doesn't cost extra levels each time you rename something.

resummoning the enderdragon is maybe cool for survival but also pretty overpowered. End rods look neat but aren't really something worth spending hours and hours updating to 1.9 and changing everything so everyone is happy.. All the stuff you're talking about is like only cool for survival and with an amazing 5-15 people on there at all times I don't really see it being worth it... Theres also just so much bullshit and trash coming with 1.9... If you really want to play 1.9 just go into a single player world, you'll get bored of it real fast.. lol

  • Creative
  • Skyblock
  • Survival
leave everything else on 1.8.

Re-summoning the ender dragon is not overpowered. If Survival switches to 1.9, I can make a safe bet that there's going to be at least 30 players there. You need to find skeleton trap horses to get end crystals to re-summon the enderdragon. Skeleton trap horses are very rare.
 
Is no one reading the thread? I have clearly stated that it is possibke to have 1.8 pvp on 1.9 as said in the thread and poll.
