UPDATE: Thanks to the use of subdivisions, the Arena, (apart from the battlefield, of course) is safe from PvP! However, if one manages to engage in PvP in any other way, the rules still apply. Remember to tell your friends about the tournament! The more the merrier! Hope to see you there!

Yes. People need to stop nitpicking with versions and just play with a universal version. It's annoying having some feature omitted or being awkward because of a handful of people using certain versions. (I haven't tested this but apparently people on 1.8 can see through invisibility potions).

I'll admit that it lags the server to hell when someone is loading new chunks, and if you're going ban fireworks you might as well ban Riptide Tridents. But lag while exploring new chunks never really existed until recently, at least for me. I filled in 7 maxed-out maps without any problems...
