Are you holding control while trying to hit? If so, holding control while left clicking will result in a a right click.

It's the default sprint button, yes. I believe you can turn it off in the settings for your computer.

I'm going to do that. But I don't plan on playing much anyways. I haven't played the game in six months and my ****** memory is gone, so it's like learning to play all over again.
