Oneblock PvP
Oneblock PvP simply needs a lot of changes, so I’m going to be putting all my suggestions in different sections.
Pinata
The Pinata Party on Oneblock simply needs changing. Some people want it in PvP, and some want it out of PvP. Making it a 50/50 chance makes both parties unhappy… I would suggest spawning the Pinata Party in mobfarm with 100 hits. If you hit it there, you get the key, and that Pinata keeps the current loot. Then, a Pinata spawns in PvP with 150 hits that has better loot (can be either more money, perhaps more Pinata keys, or different spawneggs — as some spawneggs are unobtainable now because of the new enchants). This will make both parties happy, as you can get the key by just hitting it in mobfarm!
Elytras and Ender Pearls
Both of these items are disabled right now. I understand this, as they have been for a while, and back when they were disabled, they were just for running. But nowadays, they actually have use in PvP mechanics. I’m not telling you to just allow them (please do not just enable them). They need strict restrictions. So, I propose this: Ender pearls have a cooldown of 30 seconds between each pearl, and when you throw one, your combat timer gets set to 60 seconds. This will make it basically impossible to run with them, yet allows them in fights.
As for Elytras, I propose they are allowed in PvP, but when worn, they put the combat timer at 40, and it stays at 40 until the Elytra is unequipped. When removed, the timer can start counting down normally. Also, don’t allow firework rockets… I don’t want missiles in PvP… And with the combat timer, if it’s above 20 seconds (which is what normal hits give), don’t set it to 20 seconds upon hit; just let it count down.
Combat Glitching
I’m just going to be honest: combat glitching is in the rules, but is it even still against the rules? Who knows, because currently it’s barely being enforced. You’d have to not be able to look at chat or not care to actually get banned…
Combat glitching isn’t a low-offense thing. It can be just as bad as exploiting and griefing, as you can use it to kill someone with either a very high bounty or sellhead status. And I know the staff team, they wouldn’t change the rules just because I’m telling them to. So if you’re not doing that (while many of your staff members literally said they thought the punishment should be worse), just… Make combat glitching not possible. This is easily done by disabling pets in PvP and blocking Riptide tridents and fireworks.
Also, just so you’re aware — you can get 15 verbal warnings (from every staff member once, not even counting Cloak or the devs) until you finally get an official one, and then you FINALLY get banned… for 30 minutes. Look, man, you’re not making this sound like a rule…
OP Items
Okay, Oneblock’s PvP has always been rather interesting. But… Man, there really is no excuse for fishing rods being the best PvP weapon, and bows being able to insta-kill maxed armor. So here’s what I’d suggest: you should MASSIVELY debuff fishing rods (the enchant Sharpness Hook), and make bows… not able to one-shot. I’m not exactly sure how the mechanics of it work, but I’ll import a screenshot of bows that can do it. My personal theory is the enchant Piercing, as it makes arrows faster. and faster arrows, do more damage. (this is how railguns work, they build up momentum with TNT, and then hit the player at insane speeds.).
