Description of suggestion
Allow those you /trust in your plot to use their /fly command. It does no harm and only helps us, builders. It would make life easier for me and my partner anxMonstar as we will be buying the rank very soon on payday. I don't see why this isn't a feature. Is this bypassable with joint claiming? Even then that seems a bit awkward

Possible side effects of suggestion
I see no side effects besides faster tearing down of terrain in claimed region.

Been suggested a few times, as long as /fly is apart of survival I feel this should be added.

Allowing you to /fly in your own plot when you have a trusted player nearby was a good start but I don't feel it is a good enough compromise.

The point is, it is in here as a donor rank for claims. Besides, I have worked long enough with the mining I have done and enjoy flying to build much more than building up with blocks and mining back down. All the professional builders will tell you the same.
Therefore, your trusted partners should be allowed to /fly as well.

Allowing you to /fly in your own plot when you have a trusted player nearby was a good start but I don't feel it is a good enough compromise.

Exactly, its a part of survival, therefore, your trusted players, if they have the rank to /fly, they should be able to as well. It makes us pro builders not want to take breaks and dedicate our time towards the build were working on.

Whilst true, if it's offered. Then we appreciate it and take it. So I see nothing wrong with others in the plot being able to /fly with you when trusted if they own it.

Neither does any other command such as /feed or /fix hand because of the aspect of survival. Reason being you earn it all in survival. But you should note this is modified survival. Not vanilla. If you want to rid of commands. All you have to do is request a vanilla version. Eco is fun but also does not belong. You know? .

I agree that being able to use /fly in trusted claims would be really helpful. And yes it doesn’t belong in survival, although cloakfox added it in for people who pay to use it. Obviously our survival isn’t a vanilla survival so what’s the harm of adding a little plus to /fly. Doesn’t harm anyone.

Just because there are some modifications doesn’t mean that the core of the gamemode should change. Fly has NOTHING to do with survival. Playing vanilla or modified doesn’t change that fact. Just because some people enjoy it or find it easy is not a reason to keep this modification. No one is adding /op to the game because that is bs right? Just like /fly, if people want to build easily we have creative gamemode in the server. There are changes that improve the gamemode and changes that corrupt it. Its as simple as that.

This is survival where you grind from natural environment to build great monuments. This ruins the fun of creating time spent buildings because flying and building is so much easier than shifting then building and hoping you don’t fall off the edge.

Many still work hard to build massive builds. There are massive cities in survival that took months/years to grow and develop. There are many megaprojects, memories. Dawg I never intended to argue again, I was just saying how it’s ironic he wants to add a new command in that just wasn’t designed for survival. Anyways, another -1 from me

It's not ironic. Simply put. Nobody wants a reset. Besides a smaller crowd in which fly has no contribution towards the reset statement.

But, we both have different opinions anyways which is 100% alright. Fly ruins nothing, it improves gameplay for large scale builds. You may think it does but. For professional building, we would prefer access to /fly and //WE but. If they are not here then that's cool too. However, again, it was added for those who support. So I see no issue with it haha. Also technically speaking, fly does have something to do with survival because you can fly with fireworks and an elytra :3. While much harder to maneuver, it's still simple to do so. Winter Palace was done in all Survival with no WE/Fly. Definitely could have met the deadline faster if the access was granted to such but it was requested that there not be any of that and it all be done in strictly survival. So that entire build took a whole year to make. I get where you are coming from. I do understand why you think fly ruins survival. In a core aspect yes and no just because elytras and fireworks exist. I am half and half on that.
On a side note: Did you ever try asking the server owner for the world file in a ZIP if they would be so kind to before a reset happened. Sometimes they would be willing to give it over. While not frequent, its a possibility! Never give up hope. If the server owner would be willing to give over the world file before a reset, then I would be 100% okay with a reset to be honest as long as I had that previous setup in my hands to keep working on. I hate having an unfinished product, you know?

Cloakfox already added fly. Not requesting fly, just requesting those in your plot who own the command have access to it. Read a bit more. In fact, requesting fly, not something that would have actually crossed my mind. If I were to request that, I would have also started a WE thread. Haha.

I have the /fly command but I don’t use it cause I think it’s utterly ridiculous. /fly + a shop and currency? Sounds a lot like creative amirite
