Survival

Description of suggestion
Give the "King of the Hill" tower at spawn an actual purpose, and spruce it up too. It's fun pvping around and in the tower but it could use a little incentive to get people to fight. For the most part you only get unarmed armorless people trying to kill you or just do nothing. Here's a few things I propose:
-Grant a decent chunk of money for successfully defending the tower against the attacker, and an even bigger sum for killing the defender as the attacker and seizing the tower.
-Making the tower slightly bigger and prettier.
-Balance for attacker/defender of the tower if needed.

Possible side effects of suggestion
Adding a new small gamemodes for people to enjoy, and encourage a bit of pvp. It also proposes a power dilemma, as if people can see the defender has the best gear, no one will risk attacking them, and an attacker could sucker-punch the defender with vastly better gear. However, they are problems that solve themselves, as an overpowered defender will quickly get bored with no one attacking them, and an underpowered defender (who is underpowered to encourage people to fight) can simply bail the tower, they must be observant enough to do so, of course.

+1 I actually really like this idea, no one pvps like skyblock, and this sounds really fun. Only problem is that axes 4 shot right now with strength 2, and that's a bit upsetting. Otherwise, great idea

What if theres few people online and 2 friends just abuse it to get money
That's an interesting oversight, I completely haven't thought of that. However, "boosting" as it is called, is tedious af, and would people really be willing to sacrifice their kdr for money? Where it's value is constantly depreciating as scarce items do not increase in supply? (Inflation)

Since the tower is like 20 blocks from spawn then it won't be tedious. Also KDR isn't shown either on survival unless you're in a team and if you don't want to ruin your KDR then just leave the team and rejoin after.

People would definitely sacrifice their "KDR" for money regardless of there being one or not anyways.

Which parts of boosting is tedious? All you're doing is spawning, running to the tower, dying, respawning, etc.

Ok, I see your point. perhaps the amount of money you receive is based on the level of armor and weapons your opponent wields? It would be a bit of a hassle to drop that weapons and armor after every kill, especially with the anti-loot plugin put in place.

What anti-loot plugin?

when was an anti-loot plugin added lol wtf
Outside of spawn, in the pvp area, when you kill someone you cannot pick up their loot for a substantial amount of time, or so I observed. There's even a little message stating that your loot cannot be picked up or something. Or maybe I'm just stupid, that's also a possibility.

Yeah because of combat tag. The dead person won't be combat tagged anymore so they can run and just pick up their items.
