Description of suggestion
Make a remake of 2014 or the 2015/2016 map and add good plugins. Rank from C to Complete, not A-Z. Make it the old shop system, /sell hand /sell all, buying shops are signs not this horrible hud shop plugin. And make it like before were the profitable farms are cactus, pumpkin, and sugarcane. Also add guards back in, which I know wont happen but its what people want.

Possible side effects of suggestion
People would actually play your prison.
 
@ProbationZ as this has loads of ratings can you make a suggestion with detail of what it should include so we have a better idea, If you are talking 2012-2014 style prison then name some features for those who are new and are not og like the og gang. please list or explain in a new suggestion detail on what prison should have
 
First off i'd like to say I just appreciate being open to this opinion and I know that not everything I list will be brought back/ add in, and I'm going to get into super little details and the simple things that made prison amazing that might not pertain to the actual game mode but the experience and that way it should be played.

Donator Ranks
- Convert back to just Donor and Donor+
- Donor should have donor kit, /eat, fix (once every 2 days), access to donor shop, access to donor mine, access to /nick (If not already complete), access to color codes, access to five /pv vaults, added enderchest space, 4 /sethomes, and ability to purchase an extra 2 plots.
- Donor+ should have all perms listed above in the addition to /fly (In plot world), /ptime day, Donor+ kit, fix (every 24hrs), access to ten /pv vaults, even bigger enderchest, 6 /sethomes, and the ability to purchase extra 3 plots.
- Also I consider you making the /fix just a sign that you click like before (prevents any type of abuse or exploit.)
(No fix alls, too overpowered)
Plots
- Make the plots the older smaller size, this makes people more interested to buy a rank to get more plot space, and honestly those huge plots are overkill and make it too easy.
- Plot cost is 20k each

Ranks
- Convert the ranking system back to [C] --> --> [A] --> [Elite] --> [Complete]
B upgrade costs 50k
A upgrade costs 75k
Elite upgrade costs 200k (Elite gains access to /afk)
Complete upgrade costs 2.5mil (Complete gains access to /nick and /tpa)
(Ranking prices can be adjusted but this is what I remember them being)


Mines
- C mine is the starting mine which consists of mainly coal stone and iron
- B mine consists of a small sugar cane farm, small clay mine, and a stone iron gold and emerald mine (Obviously smaller percentage as the more rare of a block) (Also you have to have the classic huge zombie on the pole at the B mine)
- A mine is were there are big sized animal and mob farms for xp grinding.
- Elite mine should include a emerald and gold mine with a small snow mine
- Complete should have a quarts/netherrack mine

- Donor mine should have a sand/redstone/glowstone mine and a wood/slimeblock/lapiz mine
Also make sure that mines are pvp zones besides where the farms and mines are at.\


Pvp
- No custom enchants normal vanilla minecraft NO MCMMO and no credits (If you really want credits please set the level enchants to the normal max level, no punch 7 bows and fortune 6 pickaxes)
- 1.8 Gapple and potion pvp
- Once tagged you cant go back into safezone until out of combat


Guards
- I know you have taken this out for a while and this is one of the main reasons people stopped playing, adding guards back would give people a reason to play prison to try to be accepted.
- I'm not saying guards need to be added right away but if prison takes off, adding guards and guard+'s would only boosts its popularity.


Map
- Add back the old 2014 or 2015/2016 map if you still have it somewhere, if not make a remake of the map
- The map is the most important part of prison and especially foxcraft prison, and obviously people loved the 2014 and 2015/2016 maps.
- Remaking the map would be easier than making a whole new one, there are tons of videos where we could recreate the map


Economy
- The ways to make money on prison are incredibly important
- Make it so cactus, pumpkin, and sugarcane are the main money sources on prison

- And obviously adjust the sell price of each item according to the price of rank upgrades and the amount of the item you can get ( Like cactus is more easy to farm than pumpkin so cactus should be less than pumpkin)


Shops
- Add a public sign shop that is available to everyone which carries the necessities such as potion materials,blocks, diamonds, iron, and gold, and food (Make sure you do not sell apples in the shop because then gapples are easily achievable, since a fun part about prison was the value of apples and how you have to farm them to create your own gapples)
- The donor shop should include discounted everything that is in normal shop, and also xp bottles should be sold in the donor shop at a price of $100 a bottle or $1600 for 16. Also donor shop should have exclusive blocks like quartz and netherbrick.


Gangs
- Gangs should cost 50k to start and there should be a cap on the number of players allowed in each gang (ex: 10-15players)
- Gangs should be able to ally other gangs


Warps
- /warp staff
-/warp spawn, /spawn
-/ warp pvp
-/warp furnaces
-/warp shop
-/warp donorshop


Leaderboards
- There should be a head display richest players leaderboard
- There should also be a top kills head displayed leaderboard

reading through this game me the feels.

especially the part about how vital the guard rank is because there was nothing better than fearing for your life when a guard was on or worse when the warden (connor) was on ya know.

I can tell you Guard rank won't come back unless it gets super popular. But it may incentivize quality players to apply for Helper.

Having the plots would be a great idea. But from a staff point, it would not be done right away. When prison launched, as one of the 3 OPs, I was on the server fixing physical bugs (of which there were a lot). The other 2 OPs were cloakfox and connor12568, and they were doing backend stuff trying to fix even more problems. And now Justinc2522 is the only OP, and cloakfox would do the backend work. Immediate implementation won't happen, but if it gets popular enough it will be added.

I'm not sure if cloakfox kept the schematics and .configs of the old Prison server, but if he did, the rest can be done easily and you will be able to play in less than 4 days.

Still +1 (or +2 :0 ¿!)

- Add back the old 2014 or 2015/2016 map if you still have it somewhere, if not make a remake of the map
- The map is the most important part of prison and especially foxcraft prison, and obviously people loved the 2014 and 2015/2016 maps.
- Remaking the map would be easier than making a whole new one, there are tons of videos where we could recreate the map


Economy
- The ways to make money on prison are incredibly important
- Make it so cactus, pumpkin, and sugarcane are the main money sources on prison

- And obviously adjust the sell price of each item according to the price of rank upgrades and the amount of the item you can get ( Like cactus is more easy to farm than pumpkin so cactus should be less than pumpkin)


Shops
- Add a public sign shop that is available to everyone which carries the necessities such as potion materials,blocks, diamonds, iron, and gold, and food (Make sure you do not sell apples in the shop because then gapples are easily achievable, since a fun part about prison was the value of apples and how you have to farm them to create your own gapples)
- The donor shop should include discounted everything that is in normal shop, and also xp bottles should be sold in the donor shop at a price of $100 a bottle or $1600 for 16. Also donor shop should have exclusive blocks like quartz and netherbrick.


Gangs
- Gangs should cost 50k to start and there should be a cap on the number of players allowed in each gang (ex: 10-15players)
- Gangs should be able to ally other gangs


Warps
- /warp staff
-/warp spawn, /spawn
-/ warp pvp
-/warp furnaces
-/warp shop
-/warp donorshop


Leaderboards
- There should be a head display richest players leaderboard
- There should also be a top kills head displayed leaderboard



I've definitely left out huge chucks of details so If you have questions ask and I'll add in the details.

I agree with most things you have said above. Some things that I would add is soul sand and nether-warts being a good source of in-game as before but soul sand is hard to get. Also guards will probably never come back unless the server reaches 750+ again, if it were to come back it wouldn't be a separate rank given out apart from normal staff. I would just makes mods+ guards or something like that, but not have people apply just for guard for now.

+1 Prison was how I found the server and I loved it and was sad to see it go .-.
 
I know guard will not be added back unless prison is a huge success. I’m not saying it needs to be added back but if there is a good player base adding guards would be awesome and help the server even more.
