Villager Per Chunk....

Recently, I have spent a few days making a huge villager trading hall. I have spent a great amount of money, time, and effort, only to realize that there can only be four villagers per chunk. This server is almost constantly at 20fps and has some of the most insane performance compared to other servers. But somehow, you are only able to allow 4 villagers per chunk? Most traditional Villager setups space the villager 1 block or 2 blocks away from the player. But mine spaces them 3 Blocks apart. Still bigger than traditional layouts, but it still does not work. Even since my Hall is spaced perfectly into 3 chunks. Now, the reason I made this forum was not just to make my trading hall work. But to save many new players time from realizing this late in the game. I have been playing Foxcraft for almost 2 years and still have not realized this chunk limit. But I think it would be perfect if we just doubled this number to 8. It fits a wide range of different trading halls, depending on whether they are double-sided, but also allows for more designs of halls without worrying about chunk limits. And about the lag, think about some villager breeders. Those can easily store 16 at once, but still cause no dent in performance. I have been on servers that are hosted with little performance, but can handle 16+ villagers per chunk.

I think there’s a limit because there’s already so many stuff u can put in a chunk. If a chunk is fully used on all the limits it could most likely just get laggy. We’ve already been trying to get the hopper limit higher but if they both got higher it would just cause lag. If this was possible it would be a game changer for many of us

Yeah. I do see what you are saying. But the question is... would you really have hoppers, pistons and Redstone repeaters in a place where villagers are?. Such as a trading hall. And if you want hoppers, pistons or Redstone to make a machine. Would you really put villagers right next to it. So I don't think that villagers would have a big impact on performance.

Also sorry about my grammar. I realized many mistakes after I posted it.

perchance there's people actually having that, though this is something im not the smartest in lol

Well, in the same chunk is both up and down. So it is entirely possible for people with smaller oneblocks to actually be limited with this, since build above or below, also wouldnt be possible.
