Description of suggestion
Add a live map, so we can use our search engine to see where players are and what's been claimed already! by doing /map you can be given a link which directs you your browser (I would post an example but its from another server). Having a live map will also allow you to see different biomes and what's already been built!

Possible side effects of suggestion
People might take advantage and use it to trap players or claim around claims.

The thing is everyone could download the map mod, but not everyone is going to have a quick enough computer to run it. Thats why i made this suggestion :p
 
i doubt this may be a viable thing to be added but i’m all for it it sounds like a great idea and improves life of player qualities
 
+1 I think it is nice but i also think that there must be an command like /map hide to hide yourself from the map otherwise perfect idea.
 
and this would crash my game. Anything that requires extra programs to run while i have minecraft running will crash my game. I can't even alt/tab while playing = crash. For those with no money or computer issues i suppose this may be a valid request.

It's something which you can open in your browser so ideally you can use your phone

I think that it is less reasource intensive to have a site open on pc or phone than use mods so u do not see why your pc matters
