Survival

Description of suggestion
With all this talk of Foxcraft "dying", I purpose a different idea: Foxcraft is stagnant. The server needs to be more dynamic and as a player base we can achieve this ourselves without the help of moderators. Here are a few suggestions:
-mainstream pvp: There's nothing wrong with duking it out, as players it's in our systems to feel the need to have a challenge. As broken as pvp is, when stripping it down to bare bones (wooden swords and leather armor, for example) the balance is a bit more achieved. Players have built great looking arenas and battlefields that see no use, and the "king of the Hill" tower outside of spawn sees no use. Of course the honor system is put to the test, but word travels quickly in this server.
Builds: As money is more and more devalued as the server continues it's life, the "survival" is less like survival and more creative. And perhaps it's something to embrace. It's a tough pill to swallow, but I feel it's the way the server is headed. Not too long ago it was suggested that a board be put up with the ability to warp to places (with the claim owner's permission) to view and expierence what they and their friends created. Building gives people some things to do, and as we've seen with places such as Londinople (a city owned by the late ksmudger), builds are a splash of color and dynamcism that the server desperately needs.
Put "team" back in team: Teams are not being used much other than and extra /home and an identity. Whether you're (bearface), Legion, Gucci, or whatever, teams are pretty disconnected. Just to be clear, I am not suggesting factions. Just a means to be more connected with others and work together. A team home should be a place where team members can work together, communicate, and create for the greater good. A well-connected team can accomplish tasks with ease, such as end-busting or searching for a woodland mansion or even building farms and grinders on a massive scale. That being said, an ability to set a hierarchy in teams that are granted certain permissions would be helpful I imagine. (Team owner>Team leaders>Veteran members>new members, etc etc)

Possible side effects of suggestion
Alot rides on the honor system with these suggestions, which shouldn't be too big a problem I imagine, as it doesn't take long for people to notice when someone is being a jerk, especially when reported or noticed by a mod or helper. I see these changes as beneficial to help make the server community more dynamic and cooperative. There may be other oversights I missed, so feel free to mention them.

Tl;Dr: Survival should be more cooperative

+1, I really like the idea of updating teams and such, but I disagree with there part where you say "it doesn't take long for people to notice when someone is being a jerk" because I've killed someone in a pvp zone and have been called the devil because of it. If you go into the pvp zone, that's your fault if you're killed and I shouldn't be attacked because of it. I really want changes done to pvp, so I can finally 1v1 @Ksmudger without being 3 shot by his 10k axe mcmmo. I really like the idea of cooperation though, as I'd like to see fun wars at spawn or something like that.

Perhaps "being a jerk" isn't the best choice of wording. I agree that in the event of pvp, you must willingly accept the risk that pvping with others offers, especially in an impromptu, unorganized fashion (ie, fighting outside of spawn). My main concern is going back on promises and such. For example after an organized pvp battle where you both agreed to relinquish your lost loot (with screenshots of course), and your opponent goes back on their promise and keeps your items. My theory is that people are eyeful of the chat, and listen to the forums, and will quickly learn not to trust the opponent in question. However this situation takes many forms, but one must act accordingly. My theory is that pvp right now is lawless, and one doesn't know who to trust, but it can pretty easily be established when a bare-bones system is put in place. Do you perhaps recall when we fought outside of spawn, with only wooden swords? That was fun, and rather balanced, I believe. I look forward to hopefully dueling more like that in the future if people are willing to cooperate.

I only have 1.4k axes, not strong enough to 3 hit people, and I'll never be 1v1ing you, I'm perma banned lol.
+1 on this suggestion, but not likely to be added.
