Description of suggestion
Make a rule that lying to get others in trouble should be a punishment. Me getting in trouble for ''hacking into someones enderchest''. For some staff who supposedly ''abused'' and 'tped someone into pvp'' to get him/her in trouble.

Less liars, no other side effects

The punishment the other person would recieve. Like in my example i would've been perm banned for hacked client, Toqsted would probably be demoted if he did not record it.

Some staff members may find it hard to tell whether someone is lying about a situation or not.

It should be thoroughly looked into before making such a decision, We should be treating all players in a Fair way but understandably I know this doesn't happen sometimes. If so many are agreeing on this, what kind of punishment would you expect?

If they try to get someone a perm ban intentionally I'd do a perm ban, if not a ban from 1 day - 15 days? (depends on what is going on)
