  • *Description of suggestion: I'm suggesting to begin a new type of staffing on foxcraft, It would be much better to have active players apply for Helper which will have a new important role for the server, they will apply for the gamemode they are most active on where they will only have perms there to staff that gamemode that way players will get help from a responsible mature active member of the staff team in the gamemode they are in rather then having staff all going to the same gamemode, however there is nothing wrong with that but it appears to be more efficient in getting work done, the staff will obviously still be allowed to freely go to other gamemodes but must be most active in their chosen/assigned gamemode. The Helpers can then be promoted to Mod which their new role could be to staff the rest of the gamemodes that way we don't have the Mods and Helpers basically doing the same thing. I also suggest the Helper maybe have the same perms or different however you choose.
  • Possible side effects of suggestion: Some Helpers may apply for Creative or other gamemodes like that which would be harder for them to catch hackers, etc.

Yea, this means we'll have a lot more active staff, for example, not many people play op-prison or anarchy, but some people always play on it. Most staff dont care to look on that server but this will actually have someone moderating it.
Very nice suggestion, in my opinion :)
 
This honestly seems pretty stupid, no offense, only because they only have perms on ONE server. If something is happening on another server, Helpers couldn't really do anything, rendering Helpers useless in all but one server. It seems like a disadvantage to have Helpers not be able to staff any server.

I thought he made server as foxcraft and game mode as all of them, lol

Actually if something happens in one server then it is up to the specific Helper assigned to that server to fix it or they can get help from mods after all, mods will have perms on all servers. ;)

It's just sort of impractical if you have to get that helper or a mod+ when something happens on a server besides the helper's own. If none are online then what would happen?

then what would happen??? what happens everyday, the only staff that are on go to fking creative. "I hate it when all the staff travel in a group and go to one server" -TotalMM Ofc the only staff memeber that saw this idea thought it was bad.

No, he's right, and the staff team is working on speeding out, but this just cripples helpers by not allowing them to punish people. No point in doing that.

No they can punish people but it will stop all the abusing on the servers. They get to punish people on 1 gamemode kinda like HPatrol but on other gamemodes. (ya know there has been 7 demotes in the past 6 months? thats like 1 demote a month pretty sad)

Exactly, if you want servers to be moderated, no point in not allowing helpers to not moderate any server. Doesn't make sense.

It does. creates more staff memebers that can help people and people dont have to be going all around the server looking for staff. You just actually need good active staff for once

Yes, basically it makes your job easier to focus on one gamemode that you are ACTIVE on, because, let's be honest how many staff go to opprison or gamemodes like that, it would make it simple and that way when a player needs help they have a go to Helper in their gamemode.
 
Should just add H-Patrols back to kitpvp, and make all Helpers not have their rank there as it would be the H-Patrols jobs to look after kitpvp.

That makes no sense. It would be harder to find someone that has perms on the server you need help on. It just doesn't make sense. The chances that there is a staff online with perms on the server you need help on see very low. On the flip side, the chances that there is a staff online with perms on the server you need help on if helpers had perms on all servers is much higher.

Haha, why does everyone think I got demoted?
Just think about this:
If there are 11 servers, there is a 1 in 11 chance that the helper has perms there. That's super low. So there's around a 1/11 chance that there's a staff that can help you out on the server. But if helpers had perms on ALL servers, if there's any staff online they can help you.

It just makes sense, it'd be more likely you could get help.

It would be alot more easier for staff to abuse. what im saying is you need ALOT of ACTIVE staff on. and why does everyone think you were demoted? because you were, if u weren't it would say "friend" under ur name not "active member"
