Title Super Hoppers - Mod (Server Side ONLY)
Description of suggestion
Get the mod or what ever its called, plugin, called Super hoppers. They're essensially a mini version of the colloector minion. They pick up in a radius, but what makes them amazing is they can also negate the need for lengthy hopper lines, long water lines, as they can transport items across long distances, without going through other hoppers.
The hopper system is currently incredibly slow and more or less, not functioning, becoming a hinderance, rather than a help for most.
I understand that it is done to help avoid server lag issues, and this plugin could greatly help towards that.
You are able to limit how many hoppers people can get, you can also hav complete control of how they are distributed.
Right now, someone can have used tons of IRL money of ranks, crates etc, but they're still halted by ingame progression by a overly nerfed regular hopper.
Possible side effects of suggestion
- Players get a limited amount of hoppers that can carry items across long distances
- Happier players over all, for a better functioning system that actually works to their benefit
- reducing lag produced by long water ways or hopper chains.
- Introducing new, effective ways of transporting items, that is good for the server and for the players.
- Letting players have access to a very limited amount of "regular" functioning hoppers without touching the current setup of hoppers that has been introduced.

While you might think that it can render the collector minion obsolete, it cannot. It has reduced range compared to a minion.
