Title Buff McMMo
Description of suggestion
Oneblock just changed it's skill system to McMMo, and while it's future-proof and reliable, me and a lot of other players seem to think it's missing some juice. The old skills system allowed you to, for example, grind to level 97 in a skill and get insane buffs like +164% damage with the first hit or reduced damage from any source. These buffs, although not applicable in /warp pvp, were extremely useful and really a massive boost in your overall performance during pvp or everyday stuff like planting crops or mining. Long story short, it was worth the grind.
This new system introduces some of the same abilities, such as the lumberjack ability from the old /skills system where you mine all wood in a huge radius with 1 swing of an axe. Other skills actually got insane buffs with McMMo, such as alchemy. You can make potions that aren't obtainable in vanilla minecraft, such as potions of haste, resistance or absorption. On the other skills, the change has been... well, a disappointment. You can grind to extremely high levels, for minor buffs and abilities that are a bit of a let-down.
This is where my suggestion steps into play. A way to fix this would be, of course, to buff the buffs (confusing, i know) and make the abilities more powerful. Rupture is the special attack you can upgrade with the fighting skill. All it does is make people "bleed" by taking damage over time, where the duration gets extended when the skill is upgraded. It's easily countered and honestly doesn't make a huge difference in a battle. If possible, new abilities should be added, such as a rage/berserk mode or something, that makes you deal increased damage for a time, or a passive ability that sometimes removes all negative effects when you're low on health. The comments can come up with more ideas, but for a skill that can be upgraded in levels beyond 200 it seems unfair that all we get is a bit of withering... What i loved about the old system was that you had multiple passive abilities/buffs that gradually gets upgraded, and i would love to see that implemented here.
As much as i love to be #1 on /mctop, it gets boring when you're grinding for nothing :')
Possible side effects of suggestion
As long as the buffs stay balanced which should be easy since we have enchants such as overload or chunky to reduce damage anyways.
Enabling skills in pvp would also (even with the current state of the plugin) make it more worth grinding for, because even though the buffs are minor, they're still buffs
