Have you tried a piston grinder? it is less efficient resource-wise but might solve your issue if you use slab hoppers to collect.

The whole point of factions is to work as a team to conquer other baes and build your own to protect your loot. By adding something like this in you are turning it into attack bases built by 1 man faction because anyone with 5 people plus can just claim land farther than your tnt canon could...
