Seems as if nobody knows what mods to use and they well... are usually bad at pvp and resort to clienting. Don't take that path unless you want a ban ;^)
I decided to make a short list of mods that are approved for this server and WILL help you pvp.
My mods:
First you'll require forge. If you're playing a 1.7 server then you'll need to find the 1.7 versions of these mods.
But for server that are 1.8 then these mods do help you if you want to pvp.
FORGE LINK:
OptiFine 1.8 ~ Increases FPS//Allows you to see OptiFine capes and access to new settings to help you. Includes the zoom feature.

TcpNoDelayMod ~ This mod increases your latency modifying your vertical knockback. It's like a LEGAL regedit on all servers. Increases ping.

((THIS MOD DOES NOT SHOW UP IN MODS SECTION ON THE LAUNCHER SCREEN))
How do you know if this mod is working? ~ "To confirm the mod has loaded correctly, launch minecraft and connect to a server once. Navigate to your .minecraft folder then open the logs folder in there. Open fml-client-latest.log (it might just show as fml-client-latest depending on your settings), press ctrl+f and search for TcpNoDelay. You should see a message similar to [tcpnodelaymod/]: Setting TCP_NODELAY to true"

ArmourStatusHUD and PotionStatusHUD and DirectionHUD ~ Shows your armours durability and what potion effects are active. (Helps to know when to repot) and a compass feature to show if you're facing: North, East, South, or West.
THIS MOD REQUIRES bprsk core!!!!

Better Sprint/ToggleSprint ~ Allows you to control your sprinting (Helps to wtap) also you can set it to where you dont have to press the sprint button the sprint, it keeps you sprinting.

Toggle Sneak requires player API to work. If this isn't here then it wont work. ALL VERSIONS HAVE TO BE THE SAME. ONE CANT BE 1.8.3 AND ONE 1.8 THEY HAVE TO BE THE SAME
